Summer Lovin’… it’s coming so fast!
We’re less than a month away from the 3rd annual Summer Lovin’ Reader Party. It takes place in Temecula, CA on Saturday, June 13th and it’s an event you don’t want to miss.
The first year, Nyrae Dawn, Bethany Lopez, Kailin Gow, and I united to put on one hell of a party at the Pomona Valley Mining Co. We started a tradition of an all-in-one signing. Books. Authors. Food. Drinks. Dancing. One big party, all in one night, all in one place. We started off by signing books and meeting readers. We finished off the night doing The Wobble and dancing to Suavemente. Can I just say FUN?
Last year, we took the party to So Cal’s wine country and I’m sure that people could hear us laughing and chatting all throughout the Temecula vineyards. We had a blast again: signing books, tasting wine, eating delicious food, and dancing the night away.
This year, we decided to stay in Temecula since it’s such a beautiful place and both authors and readers just loved the scenery and the relaxing stay.
The party takes place at the gorgeous South Coast Winery and Resort. You can come in for the day or book and room and stay the weekend. Whatever you decide, you’ll love it!
I’m really looking forward to meeting up with readers and bloggers, as well as seeing some on my amazing friends who I don’t get to see often enough. Besides signing books and passing out my Swagalicious goodies, I love dancing all night with readers/friends. I look forward to doing The Wobble, the Cupid Shuffle, begging my sister to do the worm, and finding someone to grab me a beer from the bar since I’m not a wine drinker. LOL!
What sets this signing apart from others is the opportunity to meet up with some many people and have a great time. It’s all in one location. It’s all included in one ticket price. You don’t have to get tickets for this and that. It’s one event. And it has it all!
So join me on the dance floor and let’s cut a rug!
Look for me… I’ll be the one holding a pint. Look for Gretchen de la O, she’ll be the one in the pink sneakers. Don’t forget Renee Carlino, she’ll be the one so delicately gorgeous and nervous as all hell. Nyrae Dawn will be the shy one who’s dying to stand on the table and dance… if only I can get her liquored up just a little bit more. Heidi Joy Trethaway… look for that beautiful smile. Raine Miller… Michelle Valentine… they don’t need an introduction… And there are so, so many more amazing authors who are part of the Summer Lovin’ Crew!!!
