What a Tease

Hey hey hey! That just reminded me of the old TV show What’s Happening. Does anyone else remember that show? Loved it. My husband has a cousin that can dance exactly like Rerun to this day. Really. I just witnessed it at a wedding this summer.
Okay, that was totally random.
On to the teasing…
I got some positive feedback on posting the Teaser Tuesday on my site this week. I usually just post on FB and Twitter. So you’re in for a treat here. I’m going to troll back through my old status updates to look for past TTs and post them here.
Happy Reading! From Double Threats Go S.L.Y.:
  • “Bam! Alex is on the floor, and Travis is shaking out his hand.”
  • “Girl, you need to wake the hell up. Pull your shirt down a little and put on some lipstick. You look dead. And looking like you belong in the morgue isn’t gonna get you a man.”
  • “If you really like him and want to be with him, don’t let the pact get in the way. Go get your man.”
  • “Nice shirt,” I tell him, looking closely at the fire combusting from a stick figure’s ass.
  • “I think your boyfriend just broke my nose and you’re asking me what my problem is?”
  • “Hey girls, this is the stud we have to thank for a winning football season this year.”
  • “Josh is way too goofy and easy going for anyone to dislike him. He looks like Woody from Toy Story all dressed up like a sheriff.”
  • “I guess I kissed David just to piss him off.”
  • “If I had a penis I’d say you guys are the biggest freaking cockblockers ever.”
  • “This summer was fun, but we agreed we’d chill once school started.”

Sounds like the girls are off to a running start this year. Never a dull moment, that’s for sure. Keep in mind, anyone could be saying any one of these quotes. Could be Meggie. Keesh. Josh. Alex. Steph. Travis. Who knows? Well…I do. But you’re just going to have to wait and see. That’s why it’s called a tease. ::wink wink::
My T.A. (teacher’s aide), Andrea, always asks me when the Double Threat books are going to made into movies. I wish! So I thought I’d leave you with the trailer for my favorite high school movie of all time.. Drive Me Crazy. I own it, yet I still watch it when it airs on TV. And I have even been known to order in OnDemand because I came across it and wanted to see it right then, rather than getting off my ass to find the DVD and put it in the player.
